According to a report by Lianhe Zaobao on April 8, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore uncovered a case of smuggling at the Woodlands Checkpoint, seizing over 4600 e-cigarettes and their accessories.

The Immigration Department reported that on the 7th, a Malaysian-registered truck was found to have abnormalities during scanning upon entering the country. In response, border patrol personnel immediately conducted a detailed inspection of the goods being transported by the vehicle.

During the inspection, authorities found over 4600 e-cigarettes and related accessories, including disposable e-cigarettes, in the merchandise. The case has now been handed over to the Health Science Bureau for further investigation.
