Spanish Police Arrest Suspect for Marijuana Cultivation and Drug Production
Spanish police arrested a 41-year-old man in Villanueva del Río Segura in a successful drug raid.

According to a report by the Spanish media outlet La Razon on January 10th, Spanish police arrested a 41-year-old man in Villanueva del Río Segura during a successful operation targeting cannabis cultivation, drug manufacturing, and illegal electricity theft. The operation began at midnight when a riot police team, during their patrol in the area, came across several garbage bags filled with cannabis in a dark corner. Subsequently, they seized ten bags and initiated an investigation.

During the investigation, the police discovered another six bags filled with marijuana in the area, leading them to uncover a hidden house. Upon searching the premises, law enforcement found 361 flowering cannabis plants along with associated cultivation equipment such as halogen lamps, ozone filters, activated carbon filters, and cooling devices.

A 41-year-old man who was arrested has become the prime suspect in an alleged marijuana crime. He is accused of engaging in marijuana cultivation and drug manufacturing, as well as being involved in illegal electricity theft. The police have handed over the suspect, seized drugs, and relevant evidence to the Cieza court for further trial.

The successful operation is a strong blow against drug crime and showcases the sharp observation and decisive action of the Spanish police towards criminal activities.
