Special Operation Seizes Counterfeit Tobacco Products in Konya, Turkey
Turkish authorities raid shops in Konya, seizing hundreds of thousands of counterfeit tobacco products and arresting five suspects.

According to a report by trthaber, a special team from Turkey's anti-smuggling and organized crime department in Konya conducted raids on five shops in the Eregli district suspected of illegally selling tobacco products. The operation resulted in the seizure of 320,600 empty pods with counterfeit tax stamps, 22,500 cigarette papers, 2,230 packs of finished cigarettes, 296 bottles of e-liquid, 50 e-cigarettes, 25 kilograms of water pipe tobacco, 16 kilograms of shredded tobacco, and tobacco rolling machines and compressors. Five suspects were arrested during the operation.
