TempSure™: Smart Cannabis E-cigarette with Dual Communication Function
SMISS, a Chinese company from Shenzhen, unveiled TempSure™, an intelligent cannabis e-cigarette, at the MJBizCon CBD/THC/Cannabis Expo in Las Vegas.

On November 29, the 2023 MJBizCon CBD/THC/Cannabis Expo, one of the largest cannabis industry exhibitions in the world, commenced as scheduled in Las Vegas, United States. SMISS, a company based in Shenzhen, China, unveiled their first-ever cannabis e-cigarette hardware with intelligent two-way communication capabilities, known as TempSure™, during this event.

 

TempSure™ is a product developed by SMISS that combines an intelligent MCU control chip with a proprietary PID dynamic compensation technology solution. It accurately monitors the heating status of the CeramicMesh™ heating coil (oil conductivity, oil temperature, and smoke signal) and dynamically adjusts the optimal power output to achieve precise temperature control for scientific vaporization.

U.S. Ninth Circuit Upholds FDA Denial of MH Global’s Flavored Vape PMTA Applications
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit upheld the FDA’s denial of MH Global LLC’s applications to market flavored electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS). The court ruled that FDA’s comparative-efficacy framework, which requires applicants to show that flavored products provide greater cessation or switching benefits than tobacco-flavored alternatives, is consistent with the Tobacco Control Act’s “appropriate for the protection of the public health” standard. The court also found that FDA was not required to establish the framework through notice-and-comment rulemaking.

Smoore Wins Three Heated Device Supply Lots in China Tobacco Jiangsu’s Overseas Market Project Covering Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia
China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Co., Ltd. (JSIC) has completed its 2026-2028 heated device procurement project, with Shenzhen Smoore Technology Limited securing final supply contracts for three lots: U1, C1 and C2. The project was launched through a public tender in June 2026 to support overseas markets and involved heated tobacco devices carrying JSIC’s “iRod” trademark. Candidate supplier results published on July 13 showed Smoore ranked first for the three awarded lots, while Shenzhen Yunxi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Bodi Technology Development Co., Ltd. participated in the bidding process.

China Discloses First Criminal Case Over Counterfeit Vapes Disguised as “Medical Nebulizers” and “Zero-Nicotine” Products
Chinese authorities have disclosed the country’s first reported criminal case involving counterfeit vapes marketed as “medical nebulizers” and “zero-nicotine” products. Authorities determined that the products involved were counterfeit vapes and pursued criminal charges for producing and selling counterfeit goods. According to the report, the case resulted in the seizure of 347,000 counterfeit vape pods and 53,700 vape devices, with physical goods valued at 22.13 million yuan.
