The Serious Dangers of E-cigarettes on Teenagers
Teenagers face severe health risks from e-cigarettes including pneumonia and heart disease, warns doctor Anna Gazizova from Yekaterinburg.

According to Pravda, Dr. Anna Gazizova from Yekaterinburg has issued a warning about the serious harms of e-cigarettes to teenagers, which can potentially result in severe consequences such as pneumonia and heart disease. Dr. Gazizova voiced her concerns in a video.

According to Dr. Gazizova, the glycerin, propylene glycol, and nicotine present in e-cigarettes can transform into carcinogenic substances when heated. These substances, in turn, stimulate the production of cortisol, also known as stress hormones, in the adrenal glands, thereby increasing the burden on blood vessels. This can lead to inflammation of the blood vessels and bronchi, causing irreversible changes in the body.

She also cited examples to illustrate the serious health consequences for teenagers caused by e-cigarettes, emphasizing the grave threat they pose to the health of young individuals.
