On the afternoon of March 5th, Eastern Time, 2FIRSTS conducted interviews with multiple CBD brand merchants at the APE exhibition and discovered that CBD vaporization devices bear a high resemblance to electronic cigarette devices, and that most CBD vaporization devices are produced by electronic cigarette manufacturers.

Person D in the CBD industry stated that there is little difference between CBD devices and nicotine products in terms of appearance and internal structure. The only changes made are to the way the liquid is vaporized and the heating element used. Therefore, some CBD manufacturers simply use existing e-cigarette devices.

In response to this situation, Jamal, who works for a CBD distributor company, provided an example: "For instance, the CBD company Breeze in Michigan has a vaping product called Breeze Chill that looks almost identical to their nicotine e-cigarette, with only changes made to the coil design and oil container.

According to D, there are differences between CBD and e-cigarette products due to their distinct characteristics such as vaporization temperature, product composition, and the need for a high-quality vaporizer core to address issues related to oil splashing, incomplete vaporization, and blockages.

While there are certain differences in the production of CBD devices and electronic cigarette devices, manufacturers of electronic cigarettes still have a significant advantage in producing CBD devices. Matt, a staff member at a CBD manufacturer, told 2FIRSTS that manufacturers of electronic cigarettes only need to make slight adjustments to produce and manufacture CBD devices.

There are many electronic cigarette factories in China that have also taken on CBD business. Based on public information and inquiries, 2FIRSTS has compiled a list of some domestic CBD equipment contract manufacturers, listed below in no particular order.

Somor International, Yijia Technology, Zhonglian Technology, Zholi Neng, Bode Technology, Qinyuanchun, Wulun Technology, Shikai Technology, Jindunshi Technology, and Shangshang Technology.
