Turkish Police Intercepts Passenger Smuggling Cigarettes and E-Cigarettes

Turkish police intercept a bus and find smuggled cigarettes and e-cigarettes in a passenger's luggage, leading to legal action.

According to reports by the Turkish media outlet haberler, the Mus Police in Turkey have intercepted a bus and discovered smuggled cigarettes and e-cigarettes in a passenger's suitcase. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the individual.

According to the statement from the provincial governor, personnel from the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Division and the Drug Crime Division of the Provincial Police Bureau intercepted a passenger bus at a checkpoint yesterday. During the search, 100 packs of cigarettes and 100 e-cigarettes were found in the luggage of a passenger.

The passenger was taken action against for "opposition to Law No. 5607".

Imperial Brands has launched its ZONE nicotine pouches in the UK, targeting the mainstream 9–12 mg nicotine strength segment. The brand debuts with five flavours at a recommended retail price of £6.50 per can. Mint variants currently account for around 70% of UK nicotine pouch sales, while fruit flavours are growing rapidly. ZONE will be distributed primarily through independent retail channels.
