VPZ Opens New Store in Lanark with E-cigarette Recycling Service
VPZ opens new e-cigarette store in Lanark, offering recycling services to support UK government's environmental efforts.

According to a report by the Daily Record on September 12th, the well-known UK e-cigarette retailer VPZ has opened a new store in Lanark. The opening in the town also includes an e-cigarette recycling service, as part of its commitment to helping improve the local environment in the UK.


VPZ supports the UK government's plan to ban disposable e-cigarettes.


The director of VPZ, Doug Mutter, stated that


We are proud to open a store in Lanark and introduce our innovative recycling service to address the environmental issues caused by disposable e-cigarettes. We also offer affordable and reusable alternatives to support adult smoking cessation.


VPZ Lanark is set to benefit from a recent partnership between VPZ and WasteCare, which will see the rollout of a nationwide e-cigarette recycling service in the UK, open to all e-cigarette users.


VPZ Lanark specializes in e-cigarette products and is the 172nd store of this retailer.

Turning Point Brands, a U.S. nicotine and tobacco-related consumer products company, reported its fiscal 2025 fourth-quarter results: quarterly revenue was $121 million, up 29% year over year; adjusted EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) was $30 million, up 14%. Net revenue from modern oral nicotine products was $41.3 million, up 266% year over year.

A new report from Cancer Council’s Generation Vape research project shows that fewer teenagers in New South Wales are trying vaping after the state government introduced tougher vaping goods laws. Among surveyed NSW teenagers aged 14 to 17, the proportion who had tried vaping fell from 29.6% in April 2024 to 20.1% in October 2025.

Malaysia maritime officers seize nearly 16,500 vapes in suspected cross-border smuggling bid
According to Malay Mail and Bernama, Malaysia’s maritime enforcement agency intercepted a suspicious lorry at a jetty in Kedah’s Kuala Sanglang and seized nearly 16,500 vape devices worth more than RM500,000 (about US$125,000). Three men were detained for investigation, and the case is being probed under Malaysia’s Customs Act 1967.
