China's e-cigarette industry sees international expansion with exports reaching 53.81 billion USD in the first half of 2024.

In the first six months of 2024, the Chinese e-cigarette industry continued to show expansion momentum in the international market. According to the latest data compiled by 2FIRSTS, the total export volume of Chinese e-cigarettes in the first half of the year reached 121,000 tons, with a total export value of $5.381 billion.

 

What are the new trends of e-cigarette manufacturers in the international market in the second half of this year? Which countries will become popular markets? What information do the job positions posted by e-cigarette companies convey?

 

On August 7th, 2FIRSTS organization conducted a thorough statistical analysis of recruitment information from over 70 e-cigarette companies, including Heaven Gifts, Sikary, Geekvape, Innokin, and others. By examining these job postings, we can gain insight into the market strategies and development directions of these companies.

 

Note: This article only focuses on the statistics of job titles and requirements in e-cigarette sales positions that include keywords from regions such as Europe, America, Russia, Southeast Asia, Spain, Japan, and South Korea.

 

The following conclusions are based solely on a statistical analysis of job postings from over 70 e-cigarette companies and are intended for preliminary reference only.

 

The most popular e-cigarette companies in Europe and the United States are expanding, with over 73% of them increasing their presence in the market.

 

According to statistics, nearly all positions related to the market out of over 70 companies require proficiency in English. Among them, over 70% of companies specifically mention the North American and European markets.

It is worth mentioning that in the job requirements for these positions, Germany, the UK, France, and other countries accounted for 20% of the mentions, making them the top three most frequently mentioned countries in the European market.

 

With the exception of Europe and North America, Russia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia rank in the top three.

 

2FIRSTS conducted a separate analysis of job recruitment trends in markets outside of popular markets like Europe and the United States. According to the data, the third-ranking market in other regions is Russia, accounting for 27%, with the remaining markets including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the Arab world, Africa, Japan and South Korea, and Latin America. Previous data from 2FIRSTS shows that in 2023, the top three regions in markets outside of Europe and America were Russia, Spanish-speaking regions, and the Middle East.

It is worth noting that despite some countries implementing bans on e-cigarettes or having strict controls over them, 2FIRSTS has found in their research that certain e-cigarette companies have not given up on these markets, such as Turkey and Australia.
