Aziz Aliev Appointed as New General Manager of BAT Austria
Aziz Aliev to succeed Jochen Hiller as new General Manager of British American Tobacco in Austria from Feb 1, 2024.

According to a report from OTS on February 27, Aziz Aliev will take over as the new general manager of British American Tobacco (BAT) in Austria, replacing Jochen Hiller, starting on February 1, 2024.

 

Aziz Aliev, born in Uzbekistan, began his professional career at BAT company in 2006. Before moving to Ukraine, he held various positions in BAT's different markets, working as a brand manager in the global travel retail sector, then moving to Prague as a group brand manager, later becoming a brand director for Central Europe, and finally, in 2017, assuming the role of trade manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia.

 

In January 2020, Aziz Aliyev started working in the brand department of BAT Ukraine. In 2021, he was appointed as the Activation Manager. In July 2021, he became the Trade Manager of Ukraine.
