In response, Flory Doucas, co-director of the Quebec Coalition for Tobacco Control, stated that this is exactly why the federal government needs to implement a nationwide flavor ban.

Sam Tam, president of the Canadian E-cigarette Association, pointed out that adult smokers rely on e-cigarettes as a harm reduction option, and attractive flavors make it easier for them to make the switch.
