Dominican authorities arrest three men for drug trafficking in raid.
Dominican Republic's DNCD arrests three men, seizes 339 suspected marijuana e-cigarettes in La Vega province operation.

According to a report by Diario Hispaniola on August 4th, the Dominican National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) arrested three men and seized 339 e-cigarettes suspected to contain marijuana in an operation in the province of La Vega.


Authorities in the Pong Tong area near the Duarte Highway monitored several men suspected of trafficking and selling controlled substances. According to the drug enforcement agency's report on Sunday, these men attempted to flee but were quickly apprehended. Upon searching, 339 e-cigarettes containing suspected marijuana were found hidden in several boxes next to their vehicles, with a total weight of 25.2 kilograms.


The suspect has been transferred to the prosecution office of Raviga Province and is expected to face judicial proceedings within a few hours for violating drug and controlled substances laws.
