The Vietnamese National Assembly has decided to implement a nationwide ban on the production, sale, import, and use of e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products starting in 2025.

Authorities in Hanoi, Vietnam are continuing to crack down on sales points suspected of smuggling e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products, according to Anninhthudo reported on December 1st.

On the 14th, authorities continued their operations and seized a total of 420 units of e-cigarette products without proper documentation. All seized products were foreign-made and lacked proper documentation. The case is currently under further investigation and processing.
