Health Minister Warns Young People About the Dangers of E-Cigarettes

Turkish Health Minister warns young people of the dangers of e-cigarettes during a visit to Konya.

According to Turkish media Haber Turk on September 13th, Turkish Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu stated during a visit to governor Vahdettin Özkan in Konya that young people should be cautious about e-cigarettes, as they are one of the major threats to health.

The minister emphasized that young people are the primary users of e-cigarettes, and the harmful substances contained in these products will have a serious impact on their health. He called on all sectors of society to work together to protect the health of young people from the harm of these electronic products.

First is weight, followed by addiction, especially to tobacco and alcohol. We believe that e-cigarettes, particularly a threat to young people, must be approached with caution. These are among the factors posing the greatest risk to our health.
