Turkish Police Arrest Suspect for Smuggling 502 Illegal e-Cigarettes
Police in Izmit district, Turkey, arrested a suspected smuggler and seized 502 illegal e-cigarettes in a raid.

According to reports from Haberler on September 12th, a police raid conducted in the Izmit district of Kocaeli province in Turkey resulted in the arrest of a suspect involved in smuggling. Authorities seized 502 illegal e-cigarettes during the operation, with the products bearing the "VOZOL" brand logo.


According to a statement released by the provincial government, the provincial gendarmerie command conducted a search of a vehicle with suspicious signs in the Gabuzé area during operations to crackdown on smuggling crimes.


During the search operation, the military police seized a total of 502 smuggled e-cigarettes. Subsequently, the police arrested the suspects and brought them in for further investigation.
