KT&G initiates recall of "Lil Solid 3.0" heating tobacco device
KT&G recalls "Lil Solid 3.0" heated tobacco devices due to needle detachment issue found in some products produced between August and November 2024.

According to a report by Hankooki on February 21, KT&G, a South Korean tobacco company, has initiated a recall of the "Lil Solid 3.0" heated tobacco devices manufactured between August and November 2024.


KT&G announced that the recall decision was made due to the discovery of heating needle detachment issues in some products. In order to ensure consumer safety, the company has temporarily suspended the sale of this equipment and decided to voluntarily recall the affected products.

Police in Malaysia detained 51 individuals and seized over RM1 million worth of electronic cigarettes and liquid refills in a five-state operation dubbed “Op E-CIG,” conducted by the GOF Central Brigade on February 10. Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) reported its 2025 results: revenue was 9.036 billion Danish kroner (about $1.407 billion); EBITDA before special items was 1.791 billion Danish kroner (about $278 million); and free cash flow before acquisitions was 595 million Danish kroner (about $92.7 million).
