KT&G initiates recall of "Lil Solid 3.0" heating tobacco device
KT&G recalls "Lil Solid 3.0" heated tobacco devices due to needle detachment issue found in some products produced between August and November 2024.

According to a report by Hankooki on February 21, KT&G, a South Korean tobacco company, has initiated a recall of the "Lil Solid 3.0" heated tobacco devices manufactured between August and November 2024.


KT&G announced that the recall decision was made due to the discovery of heating needle detachment issues in some products. In order to ensure consumer safety, the company has temporarily suspended the sale of this equipment and decided to voluntarily recall the affected products.

Revenue was HK$14.58 billion, profit before taxation was HK$1.28 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the Company was HK$0.98 billion, with basic and diluted EPS of HK$1.42. The Board proposed a final dividend of HK$0.33 per share; together with an interim dividend of HK$0.19 per share, the full-year dividend totaled HK$0.52 per share.

A Louisiana lawmaker has introduced HB 302, which would prohibit businesses from selling vapor products within 300 feet of schools.
