According to Weeklytoday, South Korean tobacco company KT&G said it will launch the heated tobacco device Lil Aible 3.0 at four stores in South Korea on February 28.

The report said Lil Aible 3.0 significantly reduces charging and preheating time. Its full charging time has been cut by about half compared with the previous-generation product, down to around one hour. Preheating time has also been shortened by about 10 seconds to reduce waiting time. Existing series features—including “temporary pause during use,” “switching usage modes based on preference,” and “three consecutive uses”—remain unchanged.

The report also noted improvements in product design. For the first time, the Lil Able series applies a metal body and uses curved edge finishing. The device features an AMOLED display, allowing users to easily check information such as remaining puff count and usage mode.

In terms of colors, the product comes in four options: Oud Gray, Platinum Silver, Eunoia Blue, and Sunset Pink. Among them, Oud Gray and Platinum Silver will be released first. KT&G said it will expand sales channels to Seoul-area convenience stores and its online mall in April, and plans to broaden distribution to convenience stores nationwide in May.

China’s vape exports to the U.S. reached approximately $1.58 billion in the first half of 2026, remaining broadly stable from a year earlier but still below previous growth momentum. 2Firsts’ analysis of China Customs data shows that the U.S. market has not simply returned to its previous trajectory after the enforcement shock and inventory-driven swings of 2025. Instead, export momentum is shifting across product categories. Vaping devices and atomization hardware increased 15.2% year over year, while 6-methyl nicotine-related and other nicotine substitute products surged 234.7%.
