PMI Appoints Travis Parman as US Vice President
Philip Morris International (PMI) appoints Travis Parman as US Vice President and Communications Director to promote smoke-free future.

According to a statement released on November 27th on the official website of Philip Morris International (PMI), the company has announced the appointment of Travis Parman as the Vice President and Communications Director for the United States.

PMI announced that Parman will lead the company's business development in the United States, advancing towards a smoke-free future goal for adult smokers who are currently unable to quit smoking.

 

Stacey Kennedy, President of the Americas and Chief Executive Officer of PMI's US operations, expressed great delight in Travis joining their team to collectively achieve the ambitious goal of promoting a smoke-free future in the United States.

 

According to reports, Parmann hails from AppHarvest, a sustainable food company based in Kentucky. Since 2020, he has served as the Chief Communications Officer at the company and has held multiple roles within the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, including Vice President of International Communications and Director of Global Engagement.

 

Prior to this, he held public relations and communications leadership roles at General Motors, Ally Financial, and PulteGroup.

 

Currently, Palmer has started his new position and will relocate to the company's new global headquarters in Stanford, Connecticut.
