Philip Morris International Japan announced that it will launch the new "TEREA Velvet Pearl" for the IQOS ILUMA i/ILUMA series starting October 6th. The product will be available in IQOS specialty stores nationwide starting October 6th, and will be expanded to the IQOS online store on October 8th. It will also be available in convenience stores and tobacco retailers nationwide starting October 13th.

Priced at 580 yen (approximately 4 USD) for a box of 20 pods, this product is an addition to the "IQOS ILUMA i" and "IQOS ILUMA" series of heated pods. With this new addition, the "TEREA" lineup will now include a total of 24 flavors.

Philip Morris International (PMI) Japan's Product Portfolio Marketing Director, Daniel Sevcik, stated, "'TEREA Velvet Pearl' is a refreshing mint flavored product equipped with capsules. Before crushing the capsules, one can enjoy the mint flavor; after crushing them, one can savor the fruity aroma.

In addition, the four national IQOS specialty stores (Sapporo, Ginza, Nagoya, Shinsaibashi) will showcase the "TEREA Velvet Pearl" with the theme of "shining intense berry aroma." It will be available for purchase at all national IQOS specialty stores starting from October 6, 2025. Sales will begin at the IQOS online store on October 8, and at convenience stores and other national tobacco retailers on October 13.
