PMI Japan to Launch New IQOS Products in 2025
Philip Morris Japan to launch new IQOS ILUMA i and IQOS ILUMA pods in mint flavor, expanding Terea series to 24.

According to a report from Chunichi on December 12, Philip Morris International (PMI) Japan announced that it will gradually introduce the heated tobacco products "IQOS ILUMA i" and "IQOS ILUMA" pods "TEREA" mint flavor "TEREA Riviera Pearl" in nationwide IQOS stores starting on January 9, 2025.


According to PMI, this product features a "refreshing and floral" scent. It is reported that each pack contains 20 sticks and is priced at 580 yen (including tax) (4 dollars). With the release of "TEREA Riviera Pearl," the "TEREA" series now consists of a total of 24 products.

The Philippine Department of Health reiterated Saturday that vaping should not be promoted as an alternative to cigarette smoking, Health Secretary Teodoro “Ted” Herbosa said in a radio interview, according to the Tribune. Herbosa said both vaping and smoking pose irreversible health risks and cited E-cigarette or Vaping Product Use-Associated Lung Injury (EVALI), claiming it led to the death of a 22-year-old male with no smoking history in 2025.
