
According to Turkish media outlet TRTHaber, a joint operation was conducted by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch of the Antalya Provincial Police Department and the Aksu District Police Department in the areas of Muratpaşa, Kepez, Aksu, and Manavgat. The operation targeted the offices of individuals suspected of being involved in smuggling activities.
In an ongoing search, authorities have seized a significant quantity of illegal items, including 52 kilograms of shredded tobacco, 496 bottles of e-liquid, 1077 cigars, 157,920 empty cigarette rolls, 848 bottles of alcohol, 116 pills, and three unregistered handguns.
Currently, judicial procedures have been initiated against the 13 suspects who have been detained. This operation demonstrates the law enforcement's zero-tolerance attitude towards smuggling crimes and their determination to combat such criminal activities.
