A Polish citizen was caught smuggling $350 million worth of e-cigarettee-liquid disguised as household chemicals into Ukraine.

According to a report from the Ukrainian National News Agency (UNN) on September 19th, the Ukrainian State Customs Service revealed that a Polish citizen attempted to smuggle e-cigarette liquid worth 3.5 million hryvnias into Ukraine by disguising it as household chemicals.

The incident occurred on the night of September 18th to 19th, when a vehicle driven by a Polish citizen arrived at the "Segini-Medica" checkpoint from a neighboring country.

When filling out the declaration form, the driver claimed to be transporting household chemicals with a total weight of 42 kilograms. However, upon inspecting the cargo hold of the truck, undeclared items were discovered: a total of 17,700 bottles of e-cigarette liquid containing nicotine, with capacities of 10 milliliters and 30 milliliters each. According to the Ukrainian State Customs Service, the estimated value of these goods is 3.5 million hryvnias.

The Ukrainian customs authorities have imposed administrative penalties on the smuggling activity in accordance with the law, and have prepared a report on undeclared and restricted goods.
