Turkish Police Seize Illegal Tobacco in Aksehir Province Raid
Turkish police raid illegal cigarette warehouse in Aksaray province, seizing 17,540 illegal cigarettes, smuggled tobacco, and e-cigarettes.

According to reports from Haberler on October 11th, the police in Aksaray Province, Turkey, carried out a raid on an illegal cigarette warehouse and seized 17,540 illegal cigarettes, including a large amount of smuggled tobacco and e-cigarettes.


According to information released by the police, they found a warehouse suspected of storing illegal cigarettes and tobacco products in multiple investigations. After receiving this information, the police launched an operation under the coordination of the local prosecutor. During the raid, 17,540 illicit cigarettes, 1 e-cigarette packaging machine, 1 set of e-cigarette tools, 13.5 kilograms of shisha tobacco, and 28 e-cigarettes were seized. The warehouse owner, R.U., was detained and an investigation into the incident was launched.
