Vietnamese Police Bust $15,000 E-cigarette Smuggling Case
Vietnamese authorities busted a large-scale e-cigarette parts smuggling case worth 3.8 billion VND (15,000 USD) in Lang Son province.

According to a report from Baolangson on December 24th, the police in Lang Son province, Vietnam, have cracked a major smuggling case involving e-cigarette components with a total value of up to 380 million Vietnamese dong ($15,000).

On December 21, Vietnamese law enforcement officials discovered 188 boxes containing 111,000 e-cigarette components in a truck during an inspection. The total value of the items is estimated to be over 380 million Vietnamese dong (15,000 USD). The driver was unable to provide any invoices or documentation to prove the origin of the goods.


According to the information provided by the police, some of the confiscated products are packaged with the logo "RELX" printed on them.


Currently, all items and vehicles involved in the case have been handed over to the local market management bureau for processing.
