WVS Dubai | Magnetic Suction E-cigarettes Showcased by Smoore, Sikary, OXBAR

World Vape Show in Dubai features innovative magnetic e-cigarette products, extending lifespan and sustainability for users.

From June 12th to 14th, the World Vape Show was held at the Dubai World Trade Center. 2FIRSTS observed on site that many companies and brands showcased magnetic suction e-cigarette products at the exhibition.

Magnetic suction e-cigarettes include two magnetic suction components: the e-cigarette device and a rechargeable unit (similar to a power bank). This magnetic suction design allows users to retain and reuse the rechargeable unit when replacing disposable pods, thereby extending the product's lifespan.

Below is a roundup of products related to the launch of magnetic suction e-cigarettes.

FEELM, a technology brand under the Smoore umbrella, has unveiled a disposable solution called OffCharge that comes with a movable screen.

ELFBAR brought its previously launched EW9000 to the exhibition.

OXBAR unveiled a retractable magnetic e-cigarette at the trade show.

Smissi's magnetic suction e-cigarette.

IZY unveiled a magnetic suction e-cigarette at the trade show.

VAPENGIN's magnetic suction products.

Vietnam Passes Amended Investment Law Banning E-Cigarette and Heated Tobacco Businesses

On December 11, 2025, Vietnam’s National Assembly passed the amended Investment Law, officially banning investment and business activities related to e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products. The new law also adds several high-risk and socially sensitive sectors to the list of prohibited business activities, including narcotics, wildlife trade, human organs and embryos, sex work, human cloning, fireworks, debt collection, and trade of national treasures.

Singapore Charges 14 Over Vape Syndicate Under Organised Crime Act

Singapore police said 13 people were charged on Oct 30 under the Organised Crime Act over an alleged syndicate supplying vapes locally; a 14th suspect is expected to be charged on Oct 31. All 14 had earlier been charged for possessing, or conspiring to possess, vapes for sale and are remanded. Police said the group allegedly imported vapes from Malaysia. OCA carries up to S$100,000 fine or five years’ jail; vape import/sale offences also face stiff penalties.

Trump Signs H.R.5371: FDA to Deploy $200 Million for ENDS Enforcement

President Donald Trump signed the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2026 (H.R.5371) on November 12, Section 772 of Part B—the Agriculture, Rural Development, FDA, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act (S.2256)—requires the FDA to allocate no less than $200 million in tobacco user fees to enforce regulations against illegal e-cigarettes, vapes, and other ENDS products. At least $2 million of this funding supports a federal multi-agency task force targeting products originating from the China.
