At the World Vape Show held in Dubai from June 12th to 14th, 2FIRSTS had an in-depth discussion with Yasser Albahrani, the marketing director of e-cigarette brand Arab Vape, about Arab Vape's development history, market challenges, and future strategic planning.

Arab Vape was established in 2016 as a small e-cigarette store. With strong support from the Arab market, Arab Vape now has a total of 18 comprehensive experience retail stores offline (in addition to other wholesale channels) and has been gradually expanding its business footprint. The company not only conducts retail operations in Arab countries but also engages in import and export of e-cigarette products globally, including production lines in the UK and the USA, making it a global importer and brand retailer.

However, Arab Vape also faces complex market challenges, especially in the Arab region, where different countries have varying regulatory policies on e-cigarette products. For example, restrictions on nicotine content differ in each country's regulations, which significantly impacts the production and sale of products. Additionally, rapidly changing market demands and intense industry competition also create immense pressure for businesses.

Arab Vape offers a wide range of products, each with a unique meaning behind its name, such as the "Tobacco Seasons" series. Yasser Albahrani emphasized that Arab Vape focuses on product consistency and market adaptability. Each product undergoes small-scale pilot testing and is gradually expanded based on market feedback to avoid new products replacing existing ones.

Yasser Albahrani stated that despite facing challenges, the sales data for Arab Vape remains impressive. For example, their latest series "Tobacco Seasons" has already sold approximately 200,000 units in the local market.

In response to the complex market environment, Arab Vape has taken proactive measures. The company is not only focusing on retail channels but also establishing good business relationships with other partners, focusing on the high cost-performance ratio of products and the tastes of local customers. By selecting a range of products and having its own production line, Arab Vape is filling the gap in the market demand.

Arab Vape has its own production lines in the UK and USA, focusing on producing high-quality e-liquid through production and technological innovation. They also actively import and export products from other cooperating brands to meet the demands of various markets. Yasser Albahrani stated:

We have deep collaborations with manufacturers in China, the United States, and other locations to ensure that our products are always at the forefront of the industry.

Yasser Albahrani is confident about the future market development of Arab Vape. He believes that the regulatory policies in the e-cigarette industry are becoming clearer and stricter, which will help protect the interests of both brands and consumers. He emphasizes, "E-cigarettes reduce harm compared to traditional tobacco, and adhering to strict regulatory policies is key to protecting consumer health.

In terms of company development, Arab Vape plans to open more stores in Saudi Arabia and launch an online retail network to expand the market reach of its products. At the same time, the company will further increase the proportion of its own brand in its product mix, and continue to drive business growth through efficient production and sales strategies.

When asked about his thoughts on the Dubai e-cigarette exhibition, Yasser Albahrani summed up by saying,

At the trade show, the B2B activities allowed us to see the enormous potential of the industry. The size of this year's exhibition is 8 to 9 times larger than last year, which also confirms the explosive growth of the e-cigarette industry. We will continue to monitor market trends, meet customer needs, and maintain our leading position.
