2Firsts, December 19, 2025 — According to information released on the official websites of ZYN and Swedish Match,ZYN, the nicotine pouch brand owned by Philip Morris International (PMI), plans to adjust its product portfolio in 2026 by discontinuing four products, while recommending consumers switch to alternatives with similar flavors and strength levels.
The products to be discontinued include:
- ZYN Apple Mint Mini Extra Strong
- ZYN Original Mini Normal
- ZYN Original Mini Extra Strong
- ZYN Cucumber Lime Slim Normal
The announcement stated that these products will be gradually removed from the brand’s portfolio. However, other ZYN flavors and formats will continue to be sold on the swedishmatch.se platform. The current lineup includes combinations featuring around 15 mint flavors, as well as apple-based options, catering to different taste preferences and strength requirements.
For the four discontinued products, Swedish Match has also provided links to the closest substitute products in terms of flavor and characteristics. These include recommendations directing consumers toward products with similar spearmint or citrus flavor profiles.
