BAT Malta and Coast is Clear Collaborate on Clean-up Activity
BAT Malta, in collaboration with NGO "Coast is Clear," conducted a clean-up activity at Sa Maison forest, collecting 160kg of waste.

According to a report by The Independent in Malta, British American Tobacco Malta (BAT Malta) has partnered with the non-governmental organization Coast is Clear to carry out a clean-up initiative, with Sa Maison Forest being the primary location for the clean-up activities.

 

During the cleanup process, British American Tobacco Malta's team collected a total of 160 kg of garbage. Clint Bajada, the National Manager of British American Tobacco Malta, stated, "Our commitment to ESG principles has become deeply ingrained in the company's mission, and activities like this allow us to actively contribute to improving our local community towards achieving our goal of building a better tomorrow.

 

The cleanup event was completed in collaboration with Mark Galea Pace, the founder of "Clear Coast". He commented, "The joint effort with British American Tobacco Malta showcased the power of collective action in protecting our natural environment. This collaboration sets a precedent for corporate involvement in environmental conservation and community well-being.

 

Malta began operating as a subsidiary of the British American Tobacco in 1907. This company is a division of the British American Tobacco Corporation.
