BAT to Release Annual Preliminary Performance Results on February 8
British American Tobacco (BAT) will release its preliminary annual performance for 2023 on February 8th at 7 am GMT. CEO Tadeu Marroco and Interim CFO Javid Iqbal will host a webinar at 9:30 am.

According to the official website of British American Tobacco (BAT), the company will release its preliminary annual performance for the period ending December 31, 2023, at 7 am GMT on February 8th.

 

CEO Tadeu Marroco and interim CFO Javid Iqbal will be hosting a webinar at 9:30 am.

 

At that time, the relevant performance details will be officially announced.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued modified risk granted orders to Swedish Match USA for 20 ZYN nicotine pouch products, allowing the already-authorized products to be marketed with a specific claim that using ZYN instead of cigarettes lowers the risk of mouth cancer, heart disease, lung cancer, stroke, emphysema and chronic bronchitis.

Nicotine Pouches Gain Ground in U.S. Convenience Stores as Vape Unit Sales Fall 14%
According to convenience retail publication CStore Decisions, U.S. convenience store tobacco categories are undergoing a structural shift. Based on Circana OmniMarket Total U.S. Convenience data for the 52 weeks ending June 14, 2026, cigarettes remained the largest category with $50.8 billion in sales, but unit sales declined 5.3%. Electronic smoking devices and vaping products also declined, while modern oral nicotine products continued to grow, with nicotine pouch sales rising 29% in dollars and 17% in units. Retailers said changing consumer preferences are reshaping tobacco product assortments at convenience stores.
