According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs, China's e-cigarette exports to Poland increased in May 2024.

According to the latest trade data from the General Administration of Customs, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to Poland in May 2024. The details are as follows:

The export volume amounted to approximately 17.85 million US dollars, showing a month-on-month increase of 40.7% and a year-on-year increase of 6.6%.

The export volume is approximately 275.94 tons, representing a month-on-month increase of 44.67% and a year-on-year increase of 20.37%.

The export unit price was $64.70 per kilogram, down 2.8% month-on-month and 11.4% year-on-year; the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" was $16.4 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" accounted for 32.9% of the export product category, while "non-tobacco or non-reconstituted tobacco, nicotine-containing non-combustible products" accounted for 67.1%.

According to Ukrainska Pravda, Russian strikes on the Kyiv region during the night of Aug. 4-5, 2026, damaged warehouses storing products of Japan Tobacco International (JTI) and Imperial Brands Ukraine. JTI said a finished goods warehouse in Kyiv Oblast was destroyed, with no employees injured, and that it did not expect disruptions to retail supplies. Imperial Brands Ukraine said products stored at warehouses of distributors and retail partners were affected and estimated losses from the strikes at “tens of millions of Ukrainian hryvnias” (roughly hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars).
