Claudia Woods Appointed as CEO of British American Tobacco Brazil
Claudia Woods appointed as CEO of British American Tobacco Brazil, becoming first female leader in company's history.

According to Meio & Mensagem on January 20th, British American Tobacco Brazil (BAT Brasil) announced the appointment of Claudia Woods as the new Chief Executive Officer.


Claudia has held important positions such as CEO at companies like Uber, WeWork, Webmotors, and Banco Original. She will succeed Victor Loria as the first female leader of the company as he prepares for retirement.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) reiterates that e-cigarettes and electronic vaping devices must be placed in carry-on baggage and are strictly prohibited in checked luggage, primarily because lithium batteries pose a fire risk in the cargo hold. Travelers must prevent accidental activation, observe battery capacity limits, and note that e-cigarettes and traditional tobacco are completely prohibited for in-flight use.
