E-cigarette Usage Leads to Hospitalization: Disturbing Youth Trend
A teenager from Bogdanovci, Croatia was hospitalized after using an e-cigarette containing THC and HHC; public concern grows.

According to a report by Croatian media outlet Srednja.hr on January 2nd, a minor from Bogdanovci was hospitalized after using an e-cigarette containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and hexahydrocannabinol (HHC).

 

Just ten days prior to this incident, a 15-year-old teenager collapsed in the school restroom after using an e-cigarette. The school janitor discovered the unconscious teenager and promptly alerted the authorities, who responded to the incident after receiving a report from the Woceval Hospital.

 

Currently, both incidents have sparked extreme public interest in the local community, with the police having now released the relevant details pertaining to these cases.

KT&G said on April 20 that it has launched two new “AIIM” sticks for its lil AIBLE heated tobacco device at convenience stores nationwide in South Korea. Lawmakers from Romania’s USR, PSD and PNL have submitted a bill that would ban e-cigarettes, vapes and heated tobacco devices in all enclosed public spaces. The proposal would redefine “smoking” so that inhaling aerosols produced by heating or vaporizing products containing tobacco, nicotine or other substances intended for inhalation would also be considered smoking, except for medical-use products.
