Florida Governor Signs Bill to Establish Registry of Banned Vape Products
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed 28 bills last Friday, including one regulating e-cigarette products, targeting disposable e-cigarettes.

According to CBS News on April 26, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida signed 28 bills last Friday, including one related to regulating the management of e-cigarette products.

 

On Friday, Governor DeSantis signed a bill (HB 1007) targeting e-cigarette products for children, crafted by Attorney General Ashley Moody. The legislation primarily focuses on disposable e-cigarettes and allows Moody's office to establish a registry of banned products after an administrative process.

According to a statement from the Puerto Rico House of Representatives, House Speaker Carlos Méndez and Rep. Pedro Julio Santiago announced the filing of House Bill 1070 (P.C. 1070), which would prohibit sales to people under 21 of vaping devices, liquids, or cartridges featuring a flavor and/or aroma other than nicotine.

KT&G said it will launch the heated tobacco device Lil Aible 3.0 at four stores in South Korea on February 28.
