A man in Crete suffers dental injuries after e-cigarette explosion, raising concerns over safety. Expert calls for vigilance.

2First, on September 16, 2025 - According to the best report on September 15, this week in Iraklion, Crete, Greece, a man encountered an explosion while using an e-cigarette, resulting in injuries to his mouth.

 

The man had to undergo dental surgery to repair the oral injuries caused by the explosion. Fortunately, according to the attending dentist, "his child was only seconds away from being injured, but narrowly escaped harm.

 

Dentist Manolis Angelakis pointed out that the explosion knocked out two front teeth directly, loosened other upper and lower teeth, and caused severe damage to the lips. He also described the details of the explosion: "The front part of the e-cigarette flew out and ignited the curtains", nearly endangering the children present.

 

Currently, the man is preparing to undergo multiple dental surgeries. This incident has once again sparked concerns from the public and experts about the safety of e-cigarettes, calling for increased regulation and awareness of user safety.
