Moldova is introducing new sanitary standards for tobacco products, e-cigarettes and related goods, with regulations adopted on January 14 aimed at protecting public health and tightening control over tobacco sales. The rules include measures to limit minors’ access to tobacco products, including via online shops, and establish procedures for notifications, reporting and market monitoring.

RELX has recently launched its disposable e-cigarette, the RELX DIVA, on online channels in South Korea, offering two nicotine strengths of 0.98% and 1.98%. Publicly available information shows the device features a 20 mL e-liquid capacity and is rated for around 30,000 puffs, alongside a 750 mAh rechargeable battery and two power modes—BOOST and ECO—at approximately 16W and 13W, respectively.

UK council data shows that two illegal vapes were seized every minute in 2025, with a total of 1.2 million illicit vapes removed from high streets. California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced the publication of the first-ever Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL), listing unflavored tobacco products lawful for sale under California’s flavored tobacco restrictions. Any covered tobacco product not appearing on the UTL is deemed a flavored tobacco product and ineligible for sale.
