Japan Tobacco's "Ploom X Advanced" wins the 2024 Good Design Award for its innovative tobacco heating device, addressing societal challenges.

According to Mynavi.News on October 17th, the "Ploom X Advanced" introduced by Japan Tobacco (JT) has become the first heated tobacco device to receive the "2024 Good Design Award.

Although the heated tobacco market is expanding, it still faces many challenges at the societal level. In this context, this product has the function of reducing odor, while also taking into account the needs of non-smokers. With its unique organic form and texture suitable for luxury goods, it provides users and their environment with a harmonious experience. We also appreciate its development attitude and completeness in facing social adversity.

According to the official website of the Good Design Award, it is the only comprehensive design evaluation and recommendation system in Japan. Established in 1957, it is organized by the public interest incorporated association Japan Institute of Design Promotion, and the award logo is the "G Mark.
