PMI Launches IQOS Iluma in UK
With the attractive pricing and technological advantages of IQOS Iluma, PMI aims to achieve growth in the heated tobacco sector in the UK

According to talkingretail, Philip Morris International has launched the heated tobacco device IQOS Iluma in the UK.

 

The series includes three devices, namely Iluma One, Iluma, and Iluma Prime. Iluma One is priced at £39 (USD 49.80), Iluma at £69 (USD 88.11), and Iluma Prime at £109 (USD 139.18).

 

Christian Woolfenden, Managing Director of Philip Morris International in the UK and Ireland, said, "Globally, the market for heated tobacco products is on the rise, with IQOS from Philip Morris International in Switzerland having helped millions of people around the world move away from traditional cigarettes. In the UK, the heated tobacco segment has grown an astonishing 400% in the past three years."

 

The spokesperson also stated that with the attractive pricing and technological advantages of IQOS Iluma, the company aims to achieve growth in the heated tobacco sector in the UK.

Nicotine Pouches Gain Ground in U.S. Convenience Stores as Vape Unit Sales Fall 14%
According to convenience retail publication CStore Decisions, U.S. convenience store tobacco categories are undergoing a structural shift. Based on Circana OmniMarket Total U.S. Convenience data for the 52 weeks ending June 14, 2026, cigarettes remained the largest category with $50.8 billion in sales, but unit sales declined 5.3%. Electronic smoking devices and vaping products also declined, while modern oral nicotine products continued to grow, with nicotine pouch sales rising 29% in dollars and 17% in units. Retailers said changing consumer preferences are reshaping tobacco product assortments at convenience stores.
