Philip Morris International (PMI) successfully enters the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, recognizing its commitment to sustainable development.

Philip Morris International (PMI) has recently announced its successful inclusion into the Dow Jones Sustainability™ World Index (DJSW Index), as reported by ProPakistani media on February 1st.

 

The DJSW Index is widely recognized as one of the most representative global sustainability indexes, providing a comprehensive evaluation of companies' overall performance in the social, environmental, and economic domains. The inclusion of Philip Morris International (PMI) in this index signifies international recognition of its efforts towards sustainable development.

The Unified Patent Court’s Court of Appeal declined on Dec. 29 to revive a European patent held by VMR Products LLC, upholding a finding that the patent is not inventive over earlier devices. The decision said adding a window in the vape’s outer shell to reveal the internal cartridge holding vape liquid was an obvious, routine adaptation based on an earlier U.S. patent and general knowledge.
