According to a report by Dailypost on September 25th, a significant amount of illegal cigarettes and e-cigarettes were seized by police during a crackdown operation in Conwy, Wales on Monday, September 23rd. The seized products included the e-cigarette brand "HAYATI.

The Town Council of Conway County Autonomous City stated in a press release that...

On September 23rd, with the assistance of North Wales Police, Immigration Enforcement, Wagtail Detection Dog, and Operation CeCe task force, Conwy Trading Standards conducted inspections at three commercial premises and one residential property in the Conwy County area. All four locations were found to be supplying illegal and unsafe cigarettes, tobacco, and e-cigarettes to adults and children.

During the inspection, highly advanced and specially designed hidden compartments were discovered, which were used to store illegal and unsafe tobacco and e-cigarettes. All products deemed illegal (worth approximately £46,000) have been seized, and the investigation is ongoing.

Those who sell and supply illegal and unsafe products are not only willing to sell these products to very young children, but also to destroy legitimate local businesses, often being linked to modern slavery, child sexual exploitation, and serious organized crime.
