Argentinian police in Misiones seized over 100 million pesos worth of smuggled e-cigarettes in Piñalito during a vehicle operation.

According to Noticiasdel6 on January 16th, the Misiones police in Argentina seized over 100 million pesos worth of smuggled e-cigarettes during a vehicle inspection operation in Piñalito. The vehicles used for transporting the goods were also confiscated.


On the 15th afternoon, police conducting vehicle checks discovered a car fleeing in the opposite direction. Law enforcement officers immediately pursued and ultimately apprehended the vehicle. Around the vehicle, authorities found two individuals and 38 boxes containing 4,080 e-cigarettes, valued at 104,117,030 pesos (10,000 USD) by customs officials. Police ordered the seizure of the goods and the vehicle involved in the case.


The two individuals involved have been taken to the police station, where authorities are carrying out further investigation.
