In the second half of 2024, the Shenzhen Tobacco Monopoly Bureau organized a quality supervision spot check on e-cigarette products in our city, inspecting a total of 3 sets of products produced by 2 e-cigarette companies, including 2 brands (3 pod products and 3 tobacco accessories).
In this spot check, the e-cigarette products were inspected according to the national mandatory standard for e-cigarettes (GB 41700-2022) and the "2024 second half of the year Shenzhen e-cigarette product quality supervision spot check plan," focusing on 12 safety indicators including anti-filling, anti-leakage, start protection, waterproofing, drop strength, aerosol nicotine, aerosol 2,3-butanedione, aerosol heavy metals, aerosol arsenic, e-cigarette aerosol nicotine release, e-cigarette aerosol carbonyl compound release, and aerosol additives. The inspection results showed that all 12 safety indicators of the products checked met the requirements of the national mandatory standard for e-cigarettes (GB 41700-2022).
