This data will be used to calculate the financial contribution of online marketplaces in local authorities' collection and processing of waste electrical equipment fees.
In addition, the Department of Environment also stated that a new category of electronic devices will be introduced to cover e-cigarettes, ensuring that the costs of collecting and processing e-cigarettes are fairly borne by the producers.
