VUSE Go 800 in South Korea Surpassed 1 Million Units in Sales in H1 2024
British American Tobacco (BAT) Korea subsidiary celebrates one-year anniversary of e-cigarette brand VUSE's global success in 59 countries.

According to a report by Ajunews on July 24th, British American Tobacco's South Korean subsidiary announced that the e-cigarette brand VUSE is celebrating its one-year anniversary on the market.

According to BAT, VUSE is currently being sold in 59 countries worldwide, including the United States and Japan. In July of last year, BAT first introduced "VUSE Go 800" in South Korea, and within six months of its launch, the product had surpassed 1 million units in total sales.

Due to the strong sales momentum of "VUSE GO 800," BAT launched the "VUSE GO 2nd generation" in June this year.

The company's CEO, Song Young-jae, stated:

The significance of VUSE is significant, as it significantly expands the non-combustible product choices for adult smokers in South Korea. As a domestic liquid e-cigarette brand, we will make every effort to create a sustainable market.

InterTabac 2025 | Interview with German Vaping Trade Association: Opposition to Flavor and Disposable Bans as Black Market and Compliance Dominate the Agenda
During InterTabac 2025, 2Firsts spoke with the German vaping trade association (Verband des eZigarettenhandels e. V. (VdeH)). The association noted that while Germany’s market continues to grow, the black market may account for nearly half of total volume; disposables are reshaping retail channels. VdeH is firmly opposed to flavor bans and disposable bans, arguing such measures would expand the black market and drive users back to cigarettes.
