Brazilian Military Police Seize Illegal E-cigarettes at Bus Station
Brazilian authorities seized a shipment of e-cigarettes at a bus station in Bahia, destined for Jaguaquara, without proper documentation.

According to a report by Acorda Cidade on July 22nd, on July 20th, the Tactical Operations Group (Ceto) of the 24th Military Police Battalion in Bahia, Brazil, seized a shipment of e-cigarettes during a routine inspection at the Blumadu bus station.


According to information provided by the Achei Sudoeste website, the group intercepted an interstate bus traveling from São Paulo to São Paulo and found a box of e-cigarettes and related items on board without accompanying tax documents. The seized e-cigarettes included brands "ELFBAR" and "IGNITE".


The destination of this shipment is the city of Aguascalientes. After being intercepted, the bus was allowed to continue its journey.


All confiscated items were taken to the local police station in Blumadoo to undergo the necessary legal procedures.

The Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute of China National Tobacco Corporation has filed a patent application for an end-to-end method to analyze the migration and transformation of chemical compounds in heated tobacco products.
