According to a report from Clickcamboriu on April 28th, on April 27th, Brazilian police seized approximately 7,200 illegal e-cigarettes in Balneário Camboriú. Among them were about 30 e-cigarettes containing THC, with an estimated total value of around 200,000 reais (39,085 US dollars).

 

On the 27th, police received a tip and discovered suspicious activities by a man. Subsequently, during a search of his residence, police found a large quantity of smuggled e-cigarettes. The suspect revealed that he had purchased these products from Paraguay and planned to sell them at various tobacco shops in the area.

 

Currently, the suspect has been transferred to the federal police station in Itajaí for processing, and the seized products have been handed over to the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service.
