Brazilian Police Seize Tobacco, E-cigarettes, and E-liquids in Operation
Police in Ecuador's highlands seized tobacco, e-cigarettes, and e-liquids in a bust, while two speeders evaded authorities.

According to the Brazilian media platform Catve, on the evening of May 3rd, police seized a batch of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and various essential oils in the Ecuadorian highlands of Nuevo Santo Rosa.

According to the 19th BPM report, the two cars Astra and Sorento were caught speeding by the police. Despite the officers activating sirens and lights to signal them to stop, both cars did not comply. The driver of the Sorento abandoned the car and fled on foot, and is still at large. The driver of the Astra acted as an escort and also managed to escape.

Police found stolen items in the Sorento car, including over a thousand packets of cigarettes from Paraguay, worth around 50,000 Reais, as well as four e-cigarettes and various essential oils, with a total value of around 120,000 Reais. These stolen items and the abandoned vehicle have a total value of approximately 230,000 Reais and have all been handed over to the Federal Revenue Office in Guaíra.
