Florida County Holds Second Public Hearing on E-Cigarette Vape Shops Near Schools
Florida's Duval County to discuss second public hearing on new e-cigarette vape shops near schools, following December proposal.

According to a report by Fox 13 News on January 17th, there will be a second public hearing in Duval County, Florida to discuss the opening of a new e-cigarette vape shop near schools.

 

The public hearing, which was first proposed at a meeting in late December last year, aims to implement a six-month suspension period for e-cigarette vapor shops located within a 500-foot radius of any public or private school in the county. This ordinance applies to areas surrounding elementary, middle, and high schools, while existing shops will remain unaffected.
