Iceberg Dispo: A New Disposable E-cigarette Product Launch
The popular product "ICEBERG Dispo" by Beyond Vape Japan is now available as a prize at select stores.

According to a PR times report on August 1, the popular product "ICEBERG Dispo" from e-cigarette company Beyond Vape Japan is being tested as a prize redemption item in certain stores under Marusaka Co., Ltd. starting from July 30. These stores include locations in Shinjuku, Toyoshima, and Yachiyo City.

"ICEBERG Dispo" is a disposable e-cigarette product that is nicotine-free, tar-free, and easy to use. Previously, traditional cigarettes could only be used in designated smoking areas within the Marusaka Corporation stores, while heated tobacco products were allowed to be used in specific areas within the store.

After this collaboration, customers are now able to use "ICEBERG Dispo" in the designated smoking areas within Marusaka Co., Ltd. stores. Some stores have even set up special gaming areas for heated tobacco products, allowing customers to easily experience "ICEBERG Dispo".

In order to support the proper disposal of devices used by "ICEBERG Dispo," dedicated recycling bins have been set up in the store.

EU ‘TPD3’ Enters Next Phase on Aug. 14 as Fragmented Vape and Nicotine Pouch Rules Push the Single Market Toward Regulatory Overhaul
A 12-week European Commission consultation on revising the Tobacco Products Directive and Tobacco Advertising Directive is due to close on Aug. 14, 2026. The Commission has identified e-cigarette flavours, disposable vapes, tobacco heating devices, nicotine pouches, nicotine-free e-cigarettes, packaging and digital marketing among areas for possible new EU rules. National regulations already vary significantly across the bloc, a fragmentation the Commission says creates internal-market barriers and distorts competition. No formal revised TPD/TAD legislative text has yet been published, with the Commission currently indicating December 2026 for the legislative initiative.
