Illegal Sale of E-Cigarettes Uncovered in Almaty Dental Clinic
Approximately 13,000 e-cigarettes were found in a dental clinic in Almaty, Kazakhstan, leading to an illegal trafficking investigation.

According to a report from time.kz on September 21st, a dental clinic in Almaty, Kazakhstan was found to be hiding approximately 13,000 e-cigarettes, suspected of illegally distributing e-cigarettes.


According to Aszhat Dauletiyarov, head of the anti-extremism department at the Almaty Police Department, a 32-year-old man has been arrested for his involvement in illegal gambling activities and confessed to the illegal distribution of e-cigarettes. The man had previous criminal records related to organizing illegal gambling operations.


Aisahat Doyletiyarov stated that a man was using a friend's dental clinic as a temporary storage facility to secretly sell banned e-cigarette devices for illegal profit. Currently, the police in the Medeu district of Almaty have launched a criminal investigation into the matter.
