Maryland Health Department Urges Providers to Monitor E-Cigarette Health Effects
Maryland Health Department Urges Providers to Monitor Adverse Health Effects of E-Cigarette Use, Especially in Youth.

According to a report by Somd news on January 4th, the Maryland Department of Health is urging healthcare providers to pay attention to the adverse health effects associated with e-cigarette use, especially among young people.


Recent reports from central Maryland suggest that some individuals have experienced adverse reactions shortly after using e-cigarettes. The Maryland Department of Health advises healthcare providers to promptly contact the Maryland Poison Center and local health departments upon identifying similar cases, in order to report the cases and share detailed information such as clinical symptoms, detected substances, and product sources.
